Charli XCX took Glastonbury 2024 by storm with a fiery late-night DJ set at Levels, riding high on the peak of Brat summer. It felt like a clear setup for her to claim the Pyramid Stage in 2025. While that headline slot didn’t materialize, her Other Stage headline performance on Saturday (June 28) easily stood out—arguably stealing the spotlight from many of the weekend’s main acts.

It was a set packed with unapologetically bratty moments, powering what’s already being called the biggest show of her career. From chaos to charisma, Charli’s Glastonbury takeover was as electrifying as fans hoped—and then some.

The 5 Brattiest Moments of Charli XCX at Glastonbury 2025
From setting her stage ablaze to commanding the spotlight solo, Charli’s Brat-era Glastonbury set was a masterclass in pop chaos.

1. Setting the Stage—Literally—on Fire
Charli kicked off her set with a now-signature Brat banner draped in lime green behind her, a visual cue fans have come to expect. Over the course of the tour, the banner has gradually fallen apart—scrawled on, torn, and weathered. But at Glastonbury 2025, she took it to the next level: as the lights flared and the stage erupted in pyro, Charli set the banner ablaze, symbolically burning it all down in a moment of theatrical rebellion.

2. A One-Woman Powerhouse
With rumors swirling and Lorde spotted on-site, fans expected guest appearances and viral collabs. But Charli subverted expectations and took the stage entirely solo, commanding the crowd with no distractions, no features—just pure Charli. There were audible groans when Girl, So Confusing ended without a surprise duet, but in the end, her choice to go it alone felt bold and intentional, reinforcing her status as a self-made pop powerhouse.

3. Trippy, Immersive Visuals
Whether you were fully sober or floating on festival fumes, the visual effects during songs like "Everything Is Romantic" pulled you into Charli’s surreal world. Blurry, dreamy, and warped, the visuals perfectly mirrored the hazy intoxication of her sound. It was a reminder that her artistry isn't just about sound—it’s about creating a full, sensory experience.

4. Declaring Brat Forever
At each stop on her Brat summer tour, Charli has closed her shows with a reflective on-screen message—and Glastonbury was no exception. This time, the screens flashed a vulnerable note: “I don’t know who I am without Brat.” But instead of signaling the end of this era, she flipped the narrative. “Thank you for showing me that Brat is forever,” she told the crowd. It was a heartfelt mic-drop moment—part confession, part celebration. Long live Brat.

5. A Bratty After-Party at San Remo
So how does a pop star wrap up the biggest night of her career? While some might retreat backstage or call it an early night, Charli XCX kept the party going. After headlining the Other Stage, she headed to the San Remo DJ set hosted by her partner, The 1975’s George Daniel. There, she danced side by side with him in the booth, sharing the moment with fans and friends alike. It was the perfect bratty finale to a night that already felt legendary.
